How does it work with mods permissions? We are completely legal and respect mod makers and their copyrights. Mods which each pack has permissions to distribute is done so through our servers, and those mods which don't allow distribution we simply open up the users web browser and the user downloads the file into a special directory which the Launcher then takes care of the rest. This allows us to stay legal and give mod makers the support they need by taking the user through their official Adf.ly links.Install VideoSupport and WebsiteOur website is at and our forums which we use for all support enquiries for the packs and the Launcher is at.How To InstallInstallation is simple. If your a Mac user using the Mac App then simply unzip the file and drag the ATLauncher app into your /Applications folder or anywhere else you want it, then just run it. If your using the Windows exe or Jar then make sure you place the exe/jar in it's own folder somewhere, then run it.Final WordsWe love to hear from you guys about any suggestions you may have.
We also want to hear from those who run modded MInecraft servers and are interested in getting in the Launcher, or even ModPack creators who want a platform to launch with to get your ModPack out there and in users hands. PM's are always welcome in regards to thatOther than that, enjoyDownload. How can I add my own private pack? I've been looking at the configuration files and packs.xml seems to be the right place, but I'm worried it will be overwritten later.I've been browsing ATLauncher forums but I found no instructions on how to proceed.Help please?-edit- Helping myself.Short answer: You can't add packs.Long answer: Host the pack yourself + a bunch of other things and do some java magic.Request: Add an option for a pack in a different location than your servers.Question: Why not open source it? This launcher is great in many ways. Hi, i have a private modded server that i use Multimc to send out, then the player on my server loads it into there instances. There are a few issues with this, the more dominate is that MultiMc doesn't have 1.6 support yet, so i cant keep doing what i am, also i cant update the modpack without everyone having to redownloa, reinstall, and ultimately whining to me about the work.
I've looked everywhere to figure how to host a private pack for the ATlaucher. I haven't been about to find any good way to.
Can i have a bit of help? I don't want to host my modpack publicly, id like to use the feature where u enter a code to get the modpack. Any response will help tremendously!I can also host the download link myself with dropbox if thats what it takes.
